Band Directors

Rob Rawlings

Mr. Rawlings serves as Band Director at Wayne County High School, Wayne County Middle School, and Turner Intermediate School. Previous to his tenure at Wayne County, Mr. Rawlings served as Band Director, Piano Teacher, and Guitar Instructor at Moore Haven Junior-Senior High School in Moore Haven, Florida, from 2004-2006, and served on the band staff at Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from 1994-2004. Mr. Rawlings has been a staff member for Yamaha Sounds of Summer Drum Camps since 2002.
 

Mr. Rawlings received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The University of Kentucky where he studied applied percussion with Professor James Campbell. He is currently working towards a Master of Education in Instructional Design from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Eric Masters

Mr. Masters serves as Assistant Band Director at Wayne County High School, Middle School, and Turner Intermediate School.  He received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Kentucky where he studied with trumpet professor Mark Clodfelter. As a member of the Wildcat Marching Band, Mr. Masters served as Section Leader and was an Honor Bandsman. Mr. Masters is a graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, KY and is active in many youth activities in the community.
