Wayne County Band

Rob Rawlings

Mr. Rawlings serves as Band Director at Wayne County High School, assists at Wayne County Middle School, and team-teaches at Turner Intermediate School.  In addition, Mr. Rawlings co-directs athletic pep bands, and serves as the Percussion Coordinator, Drill Designer, Music Arranger, and Overall Coordinator for the Band Program.

Previous to his tenure at Wayne County, Mr. Rawlings served as Band Director and Guitar Instructor at Moore Haven Junior-Senior High School in Moore Haven, Florida, from 2004-2006, and served on the band staff at Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from 1994-2004.
 

Mr. Rawlings received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The University of Kentucky where he studied applied percussion with Professor James Campbell.

Amanda Dobbins

Ms. Dobbins serves as Assistant Band Director at Wayne County High School, is the primary director at Wayne County Middle School, and team-teaches at Turner Intermediate School.  In addition, Ms. Dobbins is the choir director at Turner Intermediate, co-directs athletic pep bands, and serves as woodwind specialist in the band program.

Ms. Dobbins received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The University of Kentucky.
