July 4th Car Wash!!
Hello!
Here's the details on the car wash!
Saturday - July 4
We'll start washing cars at 9:00am and go until 1:00pm. If enough students want to stay longer, we can. We will play that by ear.
It is at the Monticello Wal-mart.
Please wear appropriate clothing for washing cars. You may need sunscreen (waterproof). It would be helpful if you could bring an old SOFT non-abrasive wash cloth or towel with you. We will have buckets, soap, hoses, etc. already set-up. Anyone who wants to help setup come by wal-mart at 8:30am.

Congratulations to the Percussion Section!
All members of the WCHS Percussion Section attended the Cumberland Drum Camp at the University of the Cumberlands on June 14! Great job representing our band and school!
Two members of the Percussion section, Zach Landreth and Tyler Hicks, attended the Jim Campbell Drum Camp at the University of Kentucky on June 18-19. Both represented the WCB in an outstanding manner (good job Tyler for winning the "Pyramid of Pain" drum off)!

Welcome to the home of the Wayne County High School Band from Monticello, Kentucky.
This outstanding band program has always prided itself on excellence. Throughout the storied history of the band program, the groups have consistently earned Distinguished Ratings (Superior Ratings) in all areas including the Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Solos and Ensembles, etc.
The band continues this tradition with great support from the school system, band boosters, and the community.The WC Band continually cultivates outstanding musicians who end up being outstanding members of society.
